Their educational background from ESSEC Business School and international exposure through Asia-Pacific campus and graduated as an engineer at the Institut supérieur d’Electronique de Paris further enhances their strategic approach to investment decisions.
Nicolas Becque
General Secretary
Nicolas has worked in the private equity sector for more than 19 years within several renowned players. During his audit experiences in Ernst & Young and RSM, he accompanied several management companies in making their financial processes more reliable. He also audited their compliance and internal control systems. Nicolas worked at Eurazeo as Finance Manager for 7 years on the Small-Mid Buyout activity where he supported Eurazeo Mid Cap in its development, the structuring of its middle and back office. He graduated from ESC Amiens. Nicolas joined Starquest in April 2022 as General Secretary. His role is to oversee the financial, middle back office, compliance and legal functions.
Chloé Cohen-Aknine
Investment Director
Investment Director at Starquest, brings a wealth of expertise to the boardrooms of leading companies such as Auum, Caeli Energie, Bodyguard, Atawey, and Ecoat. A former analyst at Idinvest and with a background in engineering, Chloé’s journey spans operations in startups across the US and the UK. Holding a dual degree in business from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, she combines technical acumen with a strategic vision, driving innovation and growth in the ventures she oversees.
Anne-Françoise Cote
Compliance Director
With a degree in law from Sorbonne University, and in business management from IAE Paris, Anne-Françoise COTE began her career in the legal administration of companies in difficulty. After a family interlude (mother of 3 children), she joined Starquest at the end of 2014 as CFO. Compliance Director since January 2023, Anne-Françoise COTE oversees all permanent control and compliance activities.
Arnaud Delattre

Founding CEO, builds on a dual academic background (engineer in Agronomics and business administration degree at ESSEC) as well as a dual professional track record (strategy consulting at BCG and General Management in midcap companies) to bring strategic vision and operational support to Starquest-backed entrepreneurs. Harold Dumeurger
Investment Director
Harold embarked on Starquest’s journey in 2014, ascending to the role of Investment Director in 2018. Graduated from Paris Dauphine and EDHEC, Harold holds an experience of 10+ years in Venture capital with a previous position at Cathay Capital. Driven by a daily commitment to combat climate change, he truly believes that venture capital has a key role to play in this global mission. Perceived as a strategic thinker yet pragmactic, Harold always brings his enthusiasm to help entrepreneurs building enduring and profitable companies. Within Starquest, Harold has a proven track record with successful exits and occupies strategic board positions in high-growth companies like Hello Watt or SOS Accessoires.
Emmanuel Gaude
Founding Partner & Managing Director
Founding Managing Director. Based on a dual background in market and corporate finance, his 25 years of working with entrepreneurs at every stage of their development have given him an in-depth understanding of their needs and issues. He has two strong convictions: the human element is essential in private equity, so he has developed with partners a unique methodology to help with decision-making and investment monitoring. And he is convinced that private equity (more specifically in technology and industry) must play its part in the collective fight against climate change. Isabelle Goujon
Office Manager
Isabelle previously worked as commercial and management assistant where she developed strong skills in finance and accounting during more than 20 years, Isabelle joined Starquest in 2021 within the Middle Back office team as Office Manager. Isabelle was Financial Management Assistant within the Primavista Group and Huis Clos.
Olga Koulechova
Partner Fundraising
Partner at Starquest in charge of Fundraising and Investor Relation, brings a specific expertise in fundraising of Private Equity and Venture Capital funds in the European and Global markets, and a strategic vision of market trends and investor preferences. Former Partner and principal fundraiser at Idinvest and Truffle Capital, Olga benefits from a detailed and deep understanding of the French and European PE-investors’ ecosystem. Olga holds a PhD degree in mathematics and an MBA from INSEAD.
Quentin Simon
Investment Director
As an Investment Manager at Starquest since 2016, Quentin has been specializing in Cleantech and Industry. His strategic acumen is demonstrated through his active role as a Board Member for trailblazing companies like Waga Energy, Kyotherm, Share My Space or Elistair, coupled with his success in guiding several companies to successful exits. Quentin’s prior experience in M&A at UBS and growth initiatives at Rocket Internet, further solidifies his expertise in nurturing innovative businesses. What truly sets him apart is his commitment to sustainable and responsible investing. He champions ventures that not only promise high returns but also contribute positively to society and the environment.

Head of Legal
Chloé is a Jurist and heads Starquest’s legal department. Chloé studied at Panthéon-Assas and honed her skills at Sanofi and Simmons&Simmons. She provides in-depth expertise on all the legal aspects Starquest may encounter, and assists the investment team with deals.
